New Integrations of ACS, Fire and Intruder Alarms Released

12/09/2024

AxxonSoft has updated the integration modules for access control systems, fire and intruder alarms, and perimeter intrusion detection systems for Axxon One VMS and Axxon PSIM. Both products have expanded their list of supported systems and protocols.

Axxon One ACFA 2.0

Integrated universal protocols include OPC UA, SNMP, and Modbus, as well as the ActiveMQ message broker. These are designed for interaction with various systems and devices that support these communication methods.

Support for two new devices has been added: the Axis A1001 network door controller and the BR-FSP2PLT-CTRL controller of DEA’s Fusion P2P perimeter intrusion detection system.

The ACFA 2.0 software suite is compatible with Axxon One version 2.0.6 and higher. The software package and release notes are available on the download page.

ACFA PSIM 1.2

Integrated eight new systems through the AxACFA mechanism (universal licensing) and one via native protocols (with licensing depending on brand and model). Support for two control readers has been added. The functionality of several existing integration modules has been expanded. Some modules have been discontinued due to obsolescence or replacement with newer versions.

Integrated universal protocols include OPC UA, SNMP, and Modbus, as well as message brokers ActiveMQ and MQTT. An ACFA emulator has been added — a service module that emulates the operation of ACS and alarm systems and can be used for demonstration purposes without connecting physical equipment.

The Access Manager module has been improved. It now includes the Worktime interface that replaces the Time and Attendance module. Additionally, Access Manager’s interaction algorithm with the PSIM kernel has been optimized; new convenient settings, user search capabilities, and some other functions have been added.

ACFA PSIM 1.2 is compatible with Axxon PSIM 1.0.1.1141 and later versions. The software package and release notes can be found on the download page.
